Apple has released the M1 MacBook Pro 16”, a 16.2-inch machine, in late-2021. It is powered by up to 10-core Apple M1 Max (10C, 32G). The laptop has an integrated graphics option up to Apple M1 Max iGPU (32 GPU Cores, 16 Neural Engine Cores).
On the other hand, we have the 15.4-inch MacBook Pro 15” was introduced by Apple about five years earlier in late-2016. It comes with up to a quad-core Intel Core i7-6920HQ with a boost clock speed up to 3.80 GHz. It has a dedicated GPU option up to AMD Radeon Pro 460 with 4GB GDDR5.The M1 MacBook Pro 16” has a 16.2-inch display which is slightly larger than the 15.4-inch MacBook Pro 15” (2016). In addition, the M1 MacBook Pro 16” weighs 4.7 lbs. about 16% heavier than the 4.02 lbs. MacBook Pro 15” (2016). Moreover, measured at 14.01” x 9.77” x 0.66”, the M1 MacBook Pro 16” is considerably bulkier than the MacBook Pro 15” (2016) at 13.75” x 9.48” x 0.61”.

- Better Battery Life - It delivers up to 21 hours of video playback, which is seven additional hours compared to the previous-generation MacBook Pro.
