On the other hand, we have the 14-inch Latitude 5431 was introduced by Dell about four years later in early-2022. It comes with up to 12-core Intel Core i7-1270P with a boost clock speed up to 4.80 GHz. It has a dedicated GPU option up to NVIDIA GeForce MX550 with 2GB GDDR6.

Moving over to upgradability, Dell claims that the Dell Latitude 5490 supports up to 32GB 2400 MHz DDR4 memory that you can upgrade with two memory module slots on the motherboard. It also comes with a single removable M.2 SSD slot that users can replace and upgrade in the future. On top of that, it also has a single SATA slot that users can use to install a 2.5-inch SATA SSD, SSHD, or a hard disk drive to add even more storage.

For Dell Latitude 5431, it supports up to 64GB 4800 MHz DDR5 memory that you can upgrade with two memory module slots on the motherboard. It also has a single removable M.2 SSD slot that users can replace or upgrade when needed.
