In the recent Windows 10 Update, the ability to double tap and drag to select multiple items is disabled by default. You can re-enable it by:

    1. Go to Setting (Win + I).
    2. Open Devices.
    3. Select Touchpad.
    4. Under Taps section, check on Tap twice and drag to multi-select
