There are many approaches that you can request an assistant from Cortana on Windows 10. One of the quick and easy ways is to let Cortana listen for your commands when you press a keyboard shortcut (Windows + C). To do so:

    1. Go to Setting (Win + I).
    2. Open Cortana.
    3. Select Talk to Cortana.
    4. Under the Keyboard shortcut section, turn on the Let Cortana listen for my commands when I press the Windows logo key + C.
