The next major update for Windows 10 is coming this September

As recently announcement from Microsoft, we can expect to see next major update to Windows 10 known as "Redstone 3" to be rolled out in September this year.

Microsoft just recently rolled out its Windows 10 Creators Update to every Windows 10 users. After releasing this major update, now Microsoft is working on a new feature release with a codename “Redstone 3”. Currently, Microsoft already released a few builds of Redstone 3 to Windows insiders starting from the build of 16xxx.

According to a new announcement from Microsoft that going to simplify IT management by aligning major product updates. As the result, Microsoft will release a major update for Windows 10, Office 365 Pro Plus and System Center Configuration Center twice a year at the same time, March and September to be exact.

Based on this feedback, I am excited to share today that we are aligning the servicing models for Windows 10, Office 365 ProPlus and System Center Configuration Manager for our customers, particularly those with Secure Productive Enterprise.

The Windows 10 Redstone 3 is expected to include new features such as Project NEON (user interface improvement), education features, and probably the new Tabbed Shell we recently posted.

On the other hand, Microsoft will host 2 upcoming major events, MicrosoftEDU (May, 2nd) and Microsoft BUILD event (May 10th). We are sure that more detail of the Redstone 3 will be revealed soon.
