Improvements over its predecessor.
Hold nothing back with the most powerful mobile gaming processor from AMD. The ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 engineering allows up to 65W TDP for AMD Ryzen™ 9 7945HX and up to 175W TGP for the Nvidia Geforce RTX 4090. It also has other great features and high-performance components, including:
- Supports up to 64GB of DDR5-4800 memory.
- Supports up to 2 x 2TB PCIe Gen 4x4 SSD with RAID-0.
- Shipped with Windows 11 Pro.
The new Zephyrus Duo 16 comes with a 16-inch 16:10 QHD+ Nebular HDR display that uses the mini LED panel with 1024 dimming zones. The display can deliver up to 1100 nits peak brightness for stunning HDR gameplay and has other great features, including:
- 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
- Supports FreeSynC Premium Pro.
- Dolby Vision HDR 1000.
- 3ms response time.
Unlike the previous model, which has only a RAM slot while another module is already soldered to the motherboard, that limits its maximum supported memory to only 48GB. The new Duo 16 motherboard design comes with two DDR5 RAM slots that support up to 64GB of dual-channel DDR5 memory.
The new ROG ScreenPad Plus is now better with the new Corning® Gorilla Glass DXC and a new anti-fingerprint coating. It helps:
- Reduced surface reflections
- 40% better scratch resistance.
- Better 1080p FHD webcam
- More powerful 330W power adapter.
The 2023 ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 supports a larger memory capacity than the 2022 ROG Zephyrus Duo 16. It supports up to 64GB versus 48GB of system memory on the 2022 ROG Zephyrus Duo 16.
