Dell Precision 7760 vs. Dell XPS 17 9710: Which is better?

Dell has released the Precision 7760, a 17.3-inch machine, in mid-2021. It is powered by up to an octa-core Intel Xeon W-11955M with a boost clock speed up to 5.00 GHz. The laptop has a dedicated GPU option up to Nvidia Quadro RTX A5000 with 16GB GDDR6.

On the other hand, we have the 17-inch XPS 17 9710 was introduced by Dell around the same time in mid-2021. It comes with up to an octa-core Intel Core i9-11900H with a boost clock speed up to 4.90 GHz. It has a dedicated GPU option up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 with 6GB GDDR6 70W TGP.

The Dell Precision 7760 has a 17.3-inch display which is quite similar size to the 17-inch Dell XPS 17 9710. In addition, the Dell Precision 7760 weighs 6.65 lbs. about 36% heavier than the 4.87 lbs. It also comes with four M.2 slots that users can easily upgrade and install additional SSDs to expand the storage on the device.

For Dell XPS 17 9710, it supports up to 64GB 3200 MHz DDR4 memory that you can upgrade with two memory module slots on the motherboard. It also has two M.2 slots that users can easily swap or add an extra SSD to get extra space when needed.
