ASUS Revealed New ASUS ROG Flow X16 with XG Mobile Support

ASUS has revealed the new ASUS Flow X16 with AMD Ryzen 9 processor, a QHD+ 165Hz Mini LED display with touch and ASUS pen support, XG Mobile port, 360° Hinge, and up to NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3070 Ti.

As a success and the popularity of the ROG Flow X13, ASUS has announced a new bigger brother the ROG Flow X16 with a larger 16-inch display with a brand new Nebula HDR that has a peak brightness of up to 1,100 nits with 512 Mini LED dimming zones. Just like its brother, it features a convertible 360-degree hinge that allows you to switch between laptop mode, tablet mode, stand mode, and tent mode.

ASUS confirmed the laptop will be available with up to AMD Ryzen 9-6900HS, an 8-core processor with 16 threads, 16MB L3 cache, and a 35W TDP. The AMD Radeon™ 680M Graphics integrated with the processor are also available for power efficiency tasks. Moreover, ASUS will also offer discrete graphics options that range from NVIDIA RTX 3050Ti up to 3070Ti.

The new Flow X16 will also support the Flow series exclusive gadget the ROG XG Mobile that allows you to hook up a beefier GPU up to AMD Radeon RX 6850M XT GPU for a better gaming experience. It is also a future-proof feature for the laptop as the future XG Mobile will come with an even more powerful GPU.

ASUS adds the laptop will have a unique tri-fan design to directly exhaust the heat from the GPU to the heatsinks and help the overall thermal system. On top of that, ASUS also uses the Thermal Grizzly’s liquid metal thermal compound on the CPU to better absorb heat and improve the processing power of the system. The Flow X16 will be available starting now in the US with a starting price of $2,699.99 as listed on the ASUS US website.
